Deutz was born in 1838 in Aÿ, a renowned grand cru in the heart of historic Champagne, where the maison and cellars are still located today. It is a member, from the origin, of the ancient and prestigious Trade Union of the Great Brands. Over the years the maison has purchased land in Aÿ and in the most prestigious villages of the Côte des Blancs, and today it supplies the best raw material available from about 200 hectares of vineyards, with over 80% of the grapes coming from territories grand cru or premier cru, which are then vinified separately.

The prolonged aging in 3 kilometers of cellars dug into the heart of the gypsum, at 30 meters depth, allows the Deutz Champagne to develop complexity of unique and distinctive aromas and personalities.

Deutz Champagne is present in 5 continents, in prestigious hotels and restaurants, in wine bars and in quality delis.
